Paying for Services
Therapy is truly an investment in yourself and your important relationships -- one that will pay dividends for years to come. Expect to gain insights, coping skills, and solutions to your struggles which will help improve your sense of well-being and happiness. Therapy could easily be one of the most important investments you'll ever make. There are many payment options. Just ask, and we will help find one that works for you.
Rates
$135 per one-hour session, prorated accordingly if the longer session is scheduled

Please keep in mind that I want to make services as accessible as possible and feel a commitment to providing treatment to a wide range of people. Feel free to discuss the best ways to finance your therapy when you call. Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
Options for Payment
As you consider your options, please note that I am not an "in-network" provider for any insurance plan. Even so, there are many ways to pay for therapy. Many clients find ways to access their "out-of-network" benefits, Healthcare Spending Accounts (HSAs), and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) to cover the costs of their therapy.
It is recommended that you check with your insurance company to determine possible reimbursement prior to scheduling an appointment. Questions to ask your insurance company:
- Do I have "out-of-network" mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible for "out-of-network" services and is there a separate deductible for mental health services?
- What is the percentage covered per therapy session?
- How many sessions per year does my insurance cover?
- How do I submit my own claims for reimbursement?
- Do I need approval from my primary care physician to access mental health services?
I am happy to provide a receipt with all of the appropriate codes for possible reimbursement.
Forms of Payment
Cash, check, PayPal, Venmo
Payment is expected at the time of service and will be collected at the beginning of each session. Any check that is returned for insufficient funds will be assessed a $30 fee.
Cancellation Policy
I have a 24 hour advanced notice cancellation policy, barring emergencies. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you may be required to pay for the full cost of the session. Without ample notice, I am precluded from offering your time slot to someone else who is desiring services. Repetitive last minute cancellations, even with appropriate 24 hour notice, may incur the full session fee.
